Building Bridges Artist Residency with Poetic Pilgrimage • May 22 – 27, 2015

Two of Chicago’s leading cultural institutions, the Old Town School of Folk Music and Inner-City Muslim Action Network, join together to welcome Muslim female hip hop and spoken word duo Poetic Pilgrimage from the U.K. in a week long residency of workshops, field trips, talks, participatory jams, and musical performances. This residency is made possible by a grant from the Doris Duke Foundation For Islamic Art.
